Our Athletic Programs
We believe that athletics are an incredible way for our kids to learn life lessons including teamwork, leaning on God, and pursuing personal excellence. We also think it’s a great way for them to learn about living a healthy life, at a time when the society we live in is struggling with fitness.
All prospective athletes must complete an Athletic Packet for each sport in which they wish to participate. This includes an Athletic Registration, Athletic Waiver and Concussion Waiver. A current Sports Physical is also required to be on file in order to participate in practices and games (good for 2 years).
Beyond our P.E. curriculum, Cornerstone Christian Academy for Learning & Leadership fields teams in girls and boys basketball, girls and boys track, girls and boys cross country and girls volleyball. We compete in the Metro Christian league with other private schools and Christian schools.Students from fifth through eighth grade have the opportunity to participate in sports. Student fees apply to athletic participation, which cover the costs of referees, uniforms, and transportation to and from games.
Our coaches are Christians who are adept at using competition as a unique opportunity to develop values in our athletes that reinforce our Christian beliefs. If you would like to find out more about our sports programs or get your Cornerstone student signed up, please contact our Athletic Director, Robert Mason firstname.lastname@example.org.
