It’s hard to believe that our first trimester is quickly drawing to a close! The end of the trimester also means that family service hours are due. As outlined in the Parent Contract, all CCA families are asked to serve 10 hours per trimester (single parents are asked to serve 5). This can be done by helping in the classroom, chaperoning on field trips, volunteering for special events, donating food for parties or events, etc. Any hours not served are billed at $10 per hour through accounting. Service hours can roll over from one trimester to the next, so if you served more than 10 hours this trimester, the extra hours will be credited to your 2nd trimester tally automatically.
Families can turn in their hours either on a paper form (available in the office and attached to this email), or by logging into RenWeb and recording them online. Instructions for how to do this are can be found by clicking here. Please remember that if you are entering your hours online, that needs to be done by the end of the day on Tuesday, 11/21. The office then goes in and prints a report of all the service hours logged online and transfers them to a spreadsheet. (If you go in after the deadline to enter your hours, and we’ve already printed the report, your account may not be properly credited.) If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reply to this email or give the school office a call.
Thanks for all you do to make CCA run smoothly……we couldn’t do it without your prayers and support!
**If you are a middle school parent who went to retreat, your service hours are automatically covered for the entire year. We have a list of who came to help, and you have been credited accordingly. You do not need to turn in any paperwork for that. Thanks!
